On November 11, 2025, I had the pleasure of speaking on a marketing panel at the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce’s Network QC Luncheon at the Queen Creek Library. The theme—Old-School, High-Impact: Marketing on a Budget—is one that’s especially meaningful to me, because it’s the reality for so many solopreneurs and small, founder-led businesses I work with every day.
The room was filled with entrepreneurs, small business owners, Veteran-owned businesses, and local leaders—exactly the kind of people I love supporting. Together, we dug into practical, real-world marketing strategies that don’t require a big budget: strengthening your brand, showing up in your local community, leveraging print and grassroots channels, and using digital tools with intention.
I was lucky to share the panel with two fantastic pros:
- Sarah Nieto, Multimedia Advertising Consultant at Independent Newsmedia
- Brian Crowe, Owner of Minuteman Press Queen Creek
The discussion was lively, honest, and packed with actionable takeaways—my favorite kind of session.
A huge thank-you to the Queen Creek Chamber for hosting such a well-organized event, and to Academy Bank for sponsoring the luncheon. And of course… Portillo’s for lunch (always a win).
To everyone who attended—thank you for your energy, your curiosity, and your willingness to learn. And remember: the fortune is in the follow-up (IYKYK).
