Hosted by Startup Tucson, TENWEST has grown into the largest creativity and entrepreneurship festival in the Southwest, bringing together founders, creators, innovators, and business leaders for a week of talks, workshops, and community events focused on launching, growing, and scaling new ideas.

Brenits will present “You Don’t Have to Cold Call (If You Don’t Want To): Marketing for Creatives Who Want Consistent Work Without Feeling Salesy.”

For many self-employed creatives, marketing eventually turns into something they dread—cold outreach, awkward follow-ups, and chasing work that should be coming to them.

But what if building a steady pipeline didn’t require cold calling at all?

This workshop introduces a simpler, more sustainable way to market a creative business—one that replaces scattered tactics and uncomfortable selling with a small set of repeatable activities that naturally lead to consistent work and referrals.

Instead of chasing leads, attendees will learn how to design a marketing approach that works with how creative businesses actually grow: through relationships, visibility, and trust built over time.

TENWEST 2026 will take place March 24–29 in Tucson, Arizona, featuring a decentralized, walkable festival format with programming across entrepreneurship, technology, creativity, and community development.
