TL:DR - SEO helps Google find you. AEO and GEO help AI find you. Here’s how adding FAQ content keeps your brand visible in the age of AI search.

I’m starting something new for my clients: a short, client-only note I’ll send regularly. Think of it like a quick check-in from your brand advisor. Something useful, thought-provoking, or actionable to keep your brand and marketing momentum moving between our bigger projects or regular monthly services.

This isn’t a new newsletter. It’s insights, reminders, and ideas that I think will help you grow. Think of it as a little unsolicited BrandTherapy, just for you, my current clients. A little value-add because I care about your success.

I’m going to commit to sending this monthly for now, but keep it flexible and maybe send you something every two weeks. We’ll see how this little experiment goes.

What I’m thinking about right now: GEO, AEO, and staying findable in the age of AI

Everyone knows about SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which helps Google and other search engines find your content. But two newer, related strategies are just as important now: AEO and GEO.

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) focuses on how well your content answers real questions. That’s how you show up in voice searches and “People Also Ask” results.

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) takes that further. It’s how you get surfaced by AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.

Here’s the thing: AI engines don’t just scan for keywords. They look for useful, direct, trustworthy answers written in natural language. That’s why having FAQ content on your website matters more than ever.

Your action step: Add or update an FAQ section on your site this month. Focus on the questions your clients actually ask. Write short, conversational, honest answers that reflect your expertise.

This single step supports all three: SEO (search visibility), AEO (answer visibility), GEO (AI visibility).

And it’s a simple way to make sure your business keeps getting found, no matter how people or bots are searching.

That’s all we have time for this time.

Until your next BrandTherapy session,

Andy
